Maunawili Falls Layout
Sunday, August 26th, 2007I finally had some time to sit down and do something creative! The photos I took of my last hike were calling out to me. I reached for the classic idea book:
| Who doesn’t love Becky Higgins? Layouts ordered by number of photos, with a sketch and several samples. Brilliant! Her clean and simple style is just perfect for me. So I choose a layout designed for 10+ photos, then started to look for paper. |
The Rustic Trail paper pack was a perfect match for the photos, but when I went to look for a font to stamp the title, I only found stuff that looked….cute. Really cute, but really not a match for this layout! Then I remembered my The Angel Company stamps I just bought from Jen. The Stipple-bet was perfect!
Stamp sets: Stipple-bet (The Angel Company)
Inks: Cocoa (Close To My Heart)
Papers: Rustic Trails level 2 paper pack (Close To My Heart)
Other: Edge Distresser (Close To My Heart)
You can’t tell from the photo, but I distressed the edges of the cardstock mats. Gives it more of that “rustic” look.
And Jax says, “I’m watching you…”

“… from the top of the cabinets above the refrigerator. Don’t make me pounce on your head.”
