Stamping Spot Studio

Jen of Little C’s Stamps and Things sent me this really cute Whipper Snapper paper, however, it’s been a while since I took bath pictures of my kids (they are 10 and 14), so I decided to use the back of the paper instead:

While flipping through old photos, the bright yellow matched the rain poncho color, so I pulled it out. And – Ta DAAAA!

I got these cool papers and tags from Jen over at Little C’s. I thought the flowers would match, so I threw those in, too. And there’s a stack of hula pictures of my daughter from last May Day:

I thought the album was 6×6, but it was actually 7×7 (Creative Memories) and I needed to mat my layouts. The gray matched well, and I stamped the border a little:

Jen over at Little C’s sent me a little something to get my creativity going:

I loved the colors, so I put this together using Close To My Heart’s “Imagine” scrapbooking idea book. Mittens! Get out of the picture!

Just a little stamping, and now it looks like this. For those that don’t know, the whole reason I started stamping was so that I could create my own background papers for scrapbooking!

A few finishing touches, and Ta DaaAAAA!!

Look, NO STAMPING! *Gasp!* Everything was done with a Life Delights Level 2 Paper pack and My StickEase by Close To My Heart.

This was done so fast, I took a photo, put it in the album, then forgot I did it! I only remembered after downloading all the pictures off my camera. And that camera was loaded with old pictures, too. Thanksgiving! Eep!

And Kit whispers,

“Don’t look at her. She’s trying to take our picture.”

I found some old photos of my son’s tennis team when they got to the Regional section playoffs, twice in one year!

Okay, I know this is two years too late. But hey, I’m just glad I could find the picture! This seemed like a really easy scrapbooking project, since the pictures are so large. I used the Reflections idea book by Close To My Heart to get this:

That last layout got me into a scrapbooking mood. I always thought the Whoops A Daisy papers were too bright, but it fit perfectly with these photos. Close To My Heart’s Imagine layout idea book helped immensely!

I haven’t done scrapbooking in soooo long, and these pictures were sooo old. I don’t care that there’s no main focal point photo. I don’t care that I only used a level 1 kit and MyStickease. I’m just happy that this got done in 25 minutes…wooooot!

It’s Primary election day in Hawaii! I’m off to the polls. Before I go, here’s a layout I started at the CTMH convention and only recently had a chance to post. Notice there are still no pictures in it, lol!
