Stamping Spot Studio

I know it’s a bit early for Mother’s Day, but if I don’t do this now, it might never get done!

The flower outline wouldn’t stamp straight over the back image. There were a bunch of white gaps! So I got a blending pen, picked up some of the Hollyhock ink, and just filled it in. If you look closely at the above image, you can see where it got “blended”.

Hey, I didn’t know they made M&Ms with dark chocolate! I had to try some, as well as the regular milk chocolate M&Ms. A bunch of these treat bags were made so that I wouldn’t eat two entire 12 oz. sacks by myself:

And guess what? I can’t tell the difference between the dark and milk chocolate M&Ms. Can you?

I must have at least 20 pounds of retired CTMH papers. I’d sell it on Ebay if I could ship it cheaply, but USPS Priority Mail from Hawaii is NOT cheap for that weight. And 12×12 paper doesn’t fit nicely into any Flat Rate boxes. I dare not send it by a cheaper method because if the destination is not Hawaii, it may never get there. * sigh *

In my feeble attempt to use up some retired papers, this card was created:

Now I just need to make the backing, quilt it, then bind it. More quilts, coming soon!

The Circle of Love stamp set is beautiful, but I keep wondering how much I’m going to use this peacock image. I think I’ll end up using the flourishes more often.

The different colors don’t stand out so much in the photo. There is a nice blend of colors throughout the peacock. And I am infatuated with the Glitz glitter glue:

The Baby Pink ink is so light that it doesn’t show up well in the photos. This set is now available in my Stamping Spot Etsy shop!

This past weekend, I just met the nicest bunch of gals! I wasn’t sure how much they knew about CTMH, so I just had a simple card for them to make:

All those little circles in CTMH’s Happy Holidays set attract me, like little round magnets stuck to the fridge. I scanned a ton card patterns on the Mojo Monday Sketch Blog, and found one that would work perfectly:

I love fruit stamps! This one looks so elegant, I wasn’t sure I would do the stamp set justice. I’m not exactly the “elegant” type of stamper. How do you think it turned out?
