Urban Couture Quilt for Kelli
So Kelli’s birthday was a looooong time ago, and I still haven’t given this to her! Every time I see her, I forget to bring it. Ack! Here’s the quilt being held up by my daughter and her friend who shall remain nameless:
I used one jelly roll of Basic Grey’s Urban Couture fabric line by Moda. Here’s the back:
For the quilting, I used my favorite color-changing thread by YLI. It goes from cream to brown and back:
And the close-up of the corner:
I haven’t been quilting for a while…still trying to get used to my new job. But I’m sure I’ll get back to it soon!

Oh my goodness Jean — your quilts are SO nice!!! I can only IMAGINE all the work, time, and effort it takes to make them. I love that little accent you do in the back — so cool!!! Kelli is a very lucky person — I’m sure she’s going to love and treasure it always!!!

You are very, very talented! Your quilting is outstanding, and I love you how you make the backs of your quilts almost as pretty as the front :)

Jean! I changed computers and haven’t been here for awhile. I forgot how much fun your blog is with all the cats and quilts and cards, not to mention the beautiful quilt model (ie your daughter)! Great colors on the quilt and nice accent on the back. Lovely as usual!
